The Opteq app and all Opteq wallet access will shut down on 30 November 2026
You must transfer your QOIN to a compatible wallet you control before the deadline.
0x address. The closure of Opteq applies only to the Opteq wallet service. It does not affect or deactivate the QOIN token contract on Base Chain.
Opteq was an independent member of the QOIN community that provided a wallet experience designed to simplify how users accessed and transacted with QOIN.
The QOIN project and QOIN Foundation are separate from Opteq. Opteq’s closure should not be understood as an announcement on their behalf. For current information about QOIN and the Foundation, visit qoin.com.
Transferring QOIN to a compatible self-custody wallet means you—not Opteq—control access to that wallet. This transfer does not guarantee QOIN’s future utility, liquidity, value or support by any wallet, exchange or other third party.
The closure applies only to the Opteq wallet service. Opteq is separate from the QOIN project and QOIN Foundation and cannot make announcements on their behalf. The QOIN token contract remains on Base Chain. For current information about QOIN and the Foundation, visit qoin.com.
You must transfer your QOIN to a compatible wallet you control if you want to retain access after Opteq shuts down.
Your transfer must be completed before 30 November 2026. Do not wait until the final day.
You will no longer be able to access or transfer QOIN through Opteq after shutdown. Opteq will not be able to recover or transfer any remaining balance for you.
Opteq will cover the Base network fee for transfers from Opteq that are completed before the shutdown deadline. After your QOIN has been moved to a self-custody wallet, you will be responsible for the network fee on any future transactions. These fees, commonly called gas fees –are a normal part of using blockchain networks and are paid to process and confirm transactions on the network, not to Opteq. On Base, gas fees are paid using ETH held on the Base network. The amount may vary depending on network activity, and your wallet should display the estimated fee before you approve a transaction.
We suggest Trust Wallet because it provides an experience similar to the previous Opteq wallet and includes features such as an address book, which may be useful for merchants who regularly transact with the same people or businesses.
You can also use MetaMask, Base App or any other self-custody wallet that supports Base Chain. Before transferring, confirm that your chosen wallet supports Base and allows you to add custom tokens. Opteq is not affiliated with, and is not responsible for, any third-party wallet provider.
For step-by-step setup and migration instructions, see the Opteq help guides.
The token may need to be added manually. There will be step by step guides on how to add a custom token to your new preferred wallet provider. For base app and Metamask Click here:

The Indicative Fair Trade Value shown in Opteq was provided as a reference to help merchants price goods and services when trading with QOIN; it was not a live market or exchange price. After you move your QOIN to a self-custody wallet, its displayed fiat or exchange value may show as $0 because, at the time of writing, QOIN is not listed on an exchange or tracked by the wallet’s pricing provider. Wallets generally calculate displayed values using recent trading prices and available liquidity from supported exchanges, so they cannot calculate a market price when that data is unavailable. A $0 displayed value does not mean your QOIN token balance is zero—check the number of QOIN in your wallet and verify the balance and transaction history on BaseScan.
Yes. After you move QOIN to a self-custody wallet, you will need a small amount of ETH on the Base network to send or transact with it. This ETH pays the Base network transaction fee, commonly called a gas fee; QOIN itself cannot be used to pay this fee. Make sure the ETH is held on Base—not Ethereum Mainnet or another network—and check the estimated fee shown by your wallet before confirming a transaction. Network fees vary depending on activity.
No. For security reasons, you must control the receiving wallet and complete the transfer yourself. Opteq support will never ask for your recovery phrase or password.
